Why has the Digital Concert Hall app stopped working on my device?

In June 2024, support for our app will be discontinued for some devices.

The affected device types are:

  • TVs from Toshiba, Vestel and Skyworth
  • Samsung Blu-ray players and Digital Video Recorders (PVR) from the years 2012–2016

As we always want to offer you the best streaming quality, we can unfortunately no longer guarantee the technical basis for unrestricted functionality of our app on these devices. As a result, we have decided to no longer offer the Digital Concert Hall app on these devices. We apologise for any inconvenience.

How can you continue to use the Digital Concert Hall?

There are a variety of devices and apps with which you can continue to use the Digital Concert Hall:

  • at digitalconcerthall.com in an Internet browser (for example on a laptop or computer)
  • in our apps for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) from Apple and Android
  • in our apps for numerous other TV manufacturers
  • with streaming boxes and/or streaming media players

Here you can find a complete overview of our supported devices and manufacturers

Our recommendation

If you do not yet own one of the devices listed, we would like to recommend the streaming media players from a variety of manufacturers:

  • Apple TV boxes from the fourth generation
  • Chromecast devices with Google TV
  • Roku-Streaming Media Player
